Charles and Mapi's Sit Down Feast and the Next Installment of C Cubed: Saturday Sept 26th at 311 Cumberland

Charles and Mapi hosted a lovely C Cubed dinner party at their house in Long Island City. This time we had a sit-down dinner with great food, great conversation and new friends!

The meal consisted of

• Tostones fried, smashed and fried again and Papitas con sal
• Fresh guacamole and fresh salsa with chips
  
• Vegetable lasagna
• Baked porkchops
  
• Mixed green salad
• Fresh strawberries and cheesecake
• Lots of wine (even a bottle from their recent trip to Greece) and shots of Greek schnapps to top of the evening
  

We welcomed Kate and Anand to their first C Cubed, and just last weekend we added another member of C Cubed, their new daughter Vinaya Isadora Anand!

We also welcome two new members - Toby and Barry. They are a riot and a great addition to our C Cubed family.

After a great event in LIC, we're ready for our next culinary adventure. This time, Richard takes us to Spain, making paella and savory tapas.

If it's nice out, we'll eat under the stars. If not, we will set up the table for dinner instead of milling around the kitchen like we usually do. We really enjoyed the sit down event at Charles and Mapi's.

**We will need one volunteer for dessert. Mapi and Jessica have offered to bring wine so we're set there.**

**Please let us know if you are able to make it so Richard can plan for numbers.**

Note: This will be my last installment of C Cubed for awhile as I am moving to Peru for 6 months, but I leave you in good hands. Tokumbo, the founder of C Cubed, will once again take the reins until my return.
